Refund Policy

At The Dyed Tale, each piece is unique — hand-dyed, handmade, thrifted, or newly sourced — and we take pride in the individuality of every item. Please read our policy carefully before purchasing.

All Sales Are Final

  • Due to the nature of our products (custom, one-of-a-kind, thrifted, or hand-dyed), all sales are final.

  • We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, sizing issues, or slight variations in color/pattern.

Damaged or Defective

  • If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Email our customer service with:

    • Your order number

    • Photos of the item and packaging

    • A brief description of the issue

  • We will review your case and, if approved, offer a replacement (if available) or store credit.

Thrifted & Upcycled Items

  • Thrifted and upcycled products may show minor signs of wear; these are not considered defects and are part of the item’s character.

  • We strive to disclose any notable flaws in the product description.

Color & Pattern Variations

  • All dyed and handmade items are unique — exact color, saturation, and pattern placement may vary slightly from photos.

  • Such variations are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.

Return Shipping for Approved Cases

  • If a return is approved, items must be shipped back within 5 days in unused, original condition.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the error was ours.
